Rally Crews mad their way to Leominster on the 17/18th of November for the Peak Revs Rally.

It was the last round of the 2012 WAMC Road Rally Championship, which started with the Lampeter & District Motor Club Rali Bro Caron back in February. Not many L&DMC members made the long trip to Leominster. Those that did were in for a cold & slippery night on the 120 mile route.

Top seeded L&DMC member was Kevin Smiley Davies in his Ford Escort at car 5 with Mathew Maidment on the maps, the Llanfihangiel man won the rally by 21 seconds. In second place was the Aberystwyth man, Reian Jones.  Concluding a fine season for the young L&DMC member Dafydd Evans, he managed to guide the North Wales driver Dewi Williams in his white Peugeot 205 in 17th place overall and 12th in the Experts Class.

Paul Jenkins & Cadog Davies made a last minute entry and started at car 21 in the infamous 'HEL' Escort MK2. The crew experienced some bad luck before leaving the car park when their car battery ran flat. As a result they experienced some electrical problems during the rally, resulting in having to book into MC2 Petrol 11 minutes early to avoid going OTL, eventually finishing 22nd in the Semi Experts class & 62nd overall.
